Festival Scholarships
June 15th, 2024 was the 30th and final Wayne C. Henderson Music Festival and Guitar Competition. Although the festival is no longer held, we hope our foundation’s ability to offer scholarships and grants to Traditional Appalachian Music Non-Profit Programs and young students of Traditional Acoustic Appalachian Music will thrive for many years.

Every donation helps! Our priority is funding scholarships.- We are a non-profit and have a very small production committee, every year we rely on a large number of wonderful volunteers the weekend of the festival.
- We are extremely frugal with overhead expenses so we can direct as much money as possible toward scholarships.
- We have awarded $418,950 in scholarships over the years.
